It is said that every thousand years, darkness rises and turns a number of unwitting individuals into supervillains, driving them to cause chaos and destruction. To counter this comes the power of the light—the "Niji Chikara"—which in turn is granted to four chosen girls, giving them the ability to put a stop to the villains' destructive ways and cleanse them of the darkness.
